Online Carpets is a family owned business based in Newcastle West, County Limerick. Their aim is to provide customers with the best choice in flooring at the cheapest prices online. They currently stock a vast range of flooring at very competitive prices.

Insight Multimedia’s Website Design and Web Development Team set about building the new Online Carpets E-Commerce website on the flexible WordPress CMS platform with the WooCommerce add-on. The website needed many custom E-Commerce features to allow for the calculating of prices for specific sizes and measurements of flooring during the ordering and checkout process. The store system also needed to be able to calculate shipping/delivery charges based on the customers delivery location and the order size and weight. WordPress and WooCommerce have some very customisable plugins available to facilitate this type of customisation.

The website was developed to be fully responsive and designed to adapt and function intuitively on all devices including desktop computer, tablet devices and smart phones.
