Project Overview
Comeragh College is a co-educational post-primary school in Carrick-on-Suir with almost 90 years at the heart of the local community. The school is committed to academic excellence within a supportive learning environment, nurturing each student’s individual strengths while promoting respect, wellbeing and personal development.
We partnered with the Comeragh College team to design and develop a modern, user-friendly website that reflects their values and clearly communicates school life, ethos and opportunities. The new platform makes it easy for students, parents and staff to access key information including admissions, curriculum, news and resources.
Our work covered UX and site structure, visual design and front-end development. Accessibility was a core focus throughout, with the website built to WCAG 2.2 AA standards to ensure an inclusive experience for all users.
The Challenge
Comeragh College’s previous website had become outdated in both design and functionality, making it difficult for prospective parents, students and the wider school community to access important information quickly. The site structure was fragmented, content was difficult to manage, and the user experience did not reflect the college’s modern, inclusive educational environment. The website also lacked a clear accessibility-focused approach.
The Solution
We designed and developed a completely new website that places users at the centre of the experience. The new platform features a modern, mobile-friendly design, streamlined navigation, improved content organisation, enhanced visual storytelling, and easier access to key resources for parents and students. A strong emphasis was placed on accessibility, with the website developed in line with WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines to ensure an inclusive experience for all users.
The Result
The new Comeragh College website provides a professional digital presence that better reflects the school’s values, achievements and community spirit. Visitors can now find information more easily, engage with school news and activities, and access important resources across any device. The accessible, future-ready platform has improved usability for all users while giving the college a website that can continue to grow alongside the school.
