Baltimore Sailing Club is a long-established sailing club based in the coastal village of Baltimore, County Cork. It brings together sailors of all ages and abilities, offering year-round racing, cruising, training and social events against the stunning backdrop of Roaringwater Bay. The club is known for its friendly community, strong volunteer spirit and commitment to promoting sailing and seamanship in a relaxed but supportive environment.

We worked with the Baltimore Sailing Club team to build a website that reflects both the club’s vibrant community and its sailing focus. Insight planned the site structure, designed layouts and developed the front end with clarity and ease of use in mind. The aim was to help visitors quickly find information on joining the club, upcoming events, race results and membership benefits, while giving a sense of what life at the club feels like.

Insight carried out custom development on this project to streamline course bookings and automate the collection of applicant information. The system reduces manual administration and makes managing enrolments far more efficient.

A tailored database and filtering system was also integrated to manage individual course bookings, controlling availability and tracking capacity across the wide range of courses run by the sailing club.
